Hi,

am very happy with our new disco sport, having left work late the other night, i flipped on the sat nav and it was like a fog lamp in the car, i know that i can turn down the brightness, bot does anybody know if there is a 'night mode' that automatically turns the background dark on the nav?

There is a night mode on the hard drive meridian system which you access through the sat nav menu, would imagine that it is the same for the sd card system.

Yes, there is a setting to have day, night or automatic. Hot the cogs bottom right when on nav or perhaps other screens and then choose to change general settings, display and I think it is in there.

Hi, thanks for the tips, i indeed found it per help from "plin" went to navigation settings/General/Map Display Options/
Set it to Automatic

It apparently is default set to 'Day'
