Hi,

My wife accidentally hit a skip with our disco sport.
Ideally I'd like to repair the tailgate but as it's aluminium it's not straightforward.

Does anyone know of aluminium panel beaters who might be able to give advice as to whether it's possible?

There's a very good aluminium repair shop near me in Aberdeen; but as you don't say where in the country you are it's probably nowhere near you ! More details needed in your post.

Sorry, I should have said I'm in in Staffordshire.

I was hoping to show the pics to someone with aluminium repair knowledge to see if it's even feasible.

I had a pin dent in mine in the summer and called a PDR company in Coventry to come and see it. They attempted the repair using pry bars through the tailgate, even bending the head of the tool with the pressure applied, and still couldn't get it out fully. They gave up after nearly an hour. Bear in mind this pin dent was literally 3mm in diameter. So looking at that, it might be easier to just pick up a salvage tailgate lid and transfer over everything else.(trim/lamp clusters etc)
