Just had the 1000 miles warning on Diesel Exhaust Fluid again on my 2017 DS.
I’m happy to top up with Halfords AdBlu but wary of over-filling which I’ve seen warnings about…
How can I judge the quantity to add please anyone?

Working on my 2018 DS, she will first nag when she wants 0.9gallons - which is 4 litres.
So if she is nagging then you can get at least 4 litres in - should keep you going for a while.

When you reach the 500 miles warning for Adblue, fill up with 10L.
Add more than 4L at a time otherwise the DEF counter might not update.

Adblue tank capacity:

2015-2019 = 13.7 litres.
Refresh 2019-onwards = 17 litres.

Thanks all - The InControl App I've got doesn't seem to show this info (I think I've got the latest version), but I've put in 3.5L and will see how long that lasts. (Warning went away after driving a few miles).

I used a squashy pouch type from Halfords (£6.49 at the moment) and that was quite easy to do as it has a good filling tube and is pretty light weight so I'll keep a spare handy Air1 AdBlue 3.5L

Thanks again

Standard advice on the forum has always been wait until the car gives 500 miles warning, then add NO MORE than 10 litres. That should be OK.
