Re: Lane departure warning

Could someone guide me what lane departure warning means to Land Rover? Is it just that warning display on the instrument panel or had it got any “beep” noise or similar things to warn you. If it’s just that display, it makes the driver drift out of the lane more...... Depending on the model it wil...

I would also pick the heated steering wheel, it’s one of the cheapest options but just brill in cold weather.
Likewise - it's so much nicer than either driving in gloves or putting up with cold wheel.
I've also got the space-save spare & I would always spec this or a full-size spare for ANY car

Re: Manually reset and resync InControl Journeys

1. Log out and close down the app completely on your phone. 2. Take the vehicle for a minimum of a 1 mile drive. 3. Press and hold the "B-Call" button (the left hand LR Assistance 'Spanner' button) in the overhead console for 15 seconds. The light will then blink on and off now. 4. Start and load t...

Re: Incontrol Journeys gone point to point

Anyone else found their InControl journeys are start and end point only? I recall Highlander mentioned this the other day on another thread, mine went at around 19:30 on Saturday night returning from getting some Fish and Chips in Torquay (SatNav took me a different way back and I was wondering whe...

Re: 'Take Part in Research' Email Today

Even if genuine I think I could find a much better way to spend 3.5 hours of my life. A laughable period of time for a survey unless you're desperate for a £250 incentive. Unlikely to be cash & probably discount off a service or something similar Could be a lot more than 3.5 hours, unless you live ...

Re: What name should I give my new DS?

I call mine Laura - it was the shortest name I could think of that includes the letters L & R.

I nearly convinced my wife that it was required by the voice recognition & you had to speak nicely to it.

Re: USB not showing on screen

How is the USB drive formatted?
Some members have reported having
format the drive in FAT32 format.

That's what I use & it works for me.

Re: New DS arrived - should I wait for showroom handover ?

I think you're both right, actual profit in the car is very low, they aim for the volume bonuses by selling more cars cheaply. Correct. When my wife bought her Civic a few years ago the salesman let the cat out of the bag by admitting that the dealership needed to sell one more car before the end o...

Re: New DS arrived - should I wait for showroom handover ?

Sweet! How's it driving so far? No problems so far - but I have yet to take it on a long run - so just commuting (8 miles each way). Although I did go over the car at showroom, my wife then spotted two small chips in the lacquer on rear edge of drivers door & I then noticed that the rubber trim str...
