Barnsh, your comments may not be relevant as I don’t have the Pro Entertainment system (ICTP).
IMHO, ICTP is far too expensive an option and too buggy.

Re: DS Stop ship - Incorrectly assembled oil pump
Barnish, I did not post the actual bulletin as I was not sure I was allowed to do so. Instead I posted all the most relevant information for Discovery Sport owners. Also a stop ship is a transient situation which will probably change with time (eg change in VIN range), so I thought it better to post...

Re: Rear reversing camera did not activate
My week old new car is a petrol with 8” inch screen and I have the rear camera issue. So I do not understand what you mean by 80% of the problem eliminated. If the bulletin (N212 UPS5718) I referred to earlier does fix the problem, that would be conclusive evidence that LR are NOT installing the lat...

Re: DS Stop ship - Incorrectly assembled oil pump
The bulletin does not single out either diesel or petrol. If it was likely to be only one type of engine, then after 10 days of investigation LR were bound to have limited the bulletin to one or other engine. So it is highly likely both DS engines are subject to the stop ship. Clearly, it is a big i...

DS Stop ship - Incorrectly assembled oil pump
The handover of DS cars has been stopped since 11-May-18 due to an issue concerning ‘Incorrectly assembled oil pump’, which could result in oil pump failure. Sounds rather serious to me Technically it is DS’s with VINs in the range 748576 to 771222. Document Ref: N212 UPS5718 version 1 issued on 11-...

Re: Steering - Is this right?
Question: At stationary with Stop/Start active my new MY18 petrol DS steering appears to behaviour differently to my previous diesel DS i.e. as if power steering is switched if the engine is not runningf Do any other owners experience the same? With the new petrol and with Stop/Start active, when I ...

Re: Rear reversing camera did not activate
Badgerface, I probably misled you. The fix I referred to (Bulletin LBT01163v2) is not just for MY18 cars. It includes DS cars MY17 onwards for VIN (UK built) 606801 onwards.

Re: Rear reversing camera did not activate
Double check they applied that specific update if yours is a MY18 DS. Someone else I know also found they have the same camera problem with a MY18, and believes his has just been fixed with the software update I listed.

Re: Rear reversing camera did not activate
Badgerface,
I see there is a Bulletin LBT01163v2 dated13-Mar-18, that says it addresses the issue. This involves a Software update of the ‘Image Processing Module B [IPMB]’ within the ECU. Are you saying doing that update does not fix the problem?

Re: Rear reversing camera did not activate
I picked up my new DS three days ago. Amazingly, the rear camera issue is not fixed on new cars. How can a faulty hardware/software feature still be factory fitted nine months after first being reported by customers. Honestly, I really cannot believe it. I am now losing all faith in Land Rover. 30% ...
