Bowing to your superior knowledge, I was just quoting what I was told by a Marshalls outlet in the Midlands.

Re: DPF - Letter to JLR CRC

You must know they won't answer that question, Paddy. Here's some others to go on the information wanted poster: Between which two dates did JLR run the first emissions durability test on the 16MY L550 2.0L AJ200D ? How often did the test vehicle need to have its oil changed - go on we know you're d...

Last service March 2019, and travelled 8,300 miles since.
Asked for an oil dilution check whilst in for MOT and it's at 5% so might make it to March 2020 when I will be booking in for an annual service.
I'd nsist on a compression test at the same time.

Re: New DS choice

Mine's a P250 and only 9 days old, and 180 miles on the clock so far. The P200 should be more economical but I'm currently getting over 23mpg pottering about and got 25.1mpg on a 20 mile round trip. Early days, but it's improving all the time and I see no reason why it shouldn't achieve the WLTP fi...

Re: Newbies Should Read This

With all due respect to the OP, the list should now read. Since September 2015, when deliveries of Ingenium diesels began, JLR has: 1) delivered cars that concealed the problem from owners due to faulty "software"; 2) denied the existence of the problem when it surfaced, allowing dealers to reset s...
