Re: New passenger wiper blade

Hi,

I bought the aerotwin's only last month and they do work much better than the original blades they replaced.

Re: Ad blue

Hi,

The adblue tank is over 13 litres capacity and adblue consumption is supposed to be about 500 miles a litre so you should be able to put in 5 or 6 litres without any fear of overfilling.

Re: Heater/Air Con Fan not working.

Quick FYI..... My DS is still under warranty and went in this morning for the updated fan. I asked about what would be the cost if I didn't have warranty and was told parts are £150 + VAT and the job has 3 hours allocated, but because this is a common known fault they could have fixed it without war...

Re: Heater/Air Con Fan not working.

Mart666, Consider getting the extended LR warranty before disclosing the fault to the dealer. I was quoted around £650 for 12 months from when my warranty runs out in May. I'm sure you can buy it even after the original expires depending on the age of the vehicle. I can't comment on cost as I haven'...

Re: new car ceramic coating

Hi, Glad to see you got rid of the swirls. I was sold Autoglym lifeshine with my car. The dealer only applied it to the top half of the car and had to give me a refund when I sent him a video, taken at home the day after collection, showing water running off the bonnet and door tops but sticking to ...

Re: Heater/Air Con Fan not working.

FYI - Just had a call and been told that the fan part with modified seals will be available for install on the 2nd March.

The dealer couldn't say whether the parts came from China.

Re: Heater/Air Con Fan not working.

Today my scheduled warranty fix for the heater fan not working has been canceled due to lack of parts. There is definitely a problem as they are struggling to give me a date to reschedule the work.

Does anyone know if the parts are manufactured in China and production is being affected by Covid-19 ?

Re: Buying a discovery sport...advise needed.

Hi Dav, My advice is to go for the one with the extras you want and the colour you like. I'd hate to buy a car that I don't particularly like the colour of or have nagging disappointment that I didn't get the tech, seats or pano roof I really wanted. As for 27,000 miles I'd say that sounds like it c...

Re: AdBlue use

Hi, LR suggest average Adblue consumption should be around 1 litre for every 500 miles. Personally I drive with a very light right foot and have manged to get almost double this from my 2017 MY. I suppose for me to use 1 litre for every 220 miles I'd have to spend a hell of a lot of time in traffic ...
