.....one of the last current model DSs off the production line and ordered an HSE Si4 240 from "stock" yesterday.
Could you expand on the phrase "one of the last current model DSs" please? Are they making the next model already?

Re: Cheat device EDC17

My son told me this when he was a student at Columbia Law in the nineties. Germany never recognised guilty pleading so therefore you couldn't bargain with something that the courts didnt recognise. I think you are right though, according to the following it changed about six years ago. https://www.d...

Re: EDC17: chickens coming home.

In English Law a conspiracy to commit an offence carries the same penalty upon conviction as if the material offence had been commissioned. Regarding Winterkorn and his cronies I don't believe that plea bargains are recognised in German courts whereas in the USA and UK, once the house looks like it...

Re: What to do?!!

This is why all credit purchase agreements should mandate a minimum of a 33% down payment. That way we all stay within our budgets and overall the world is a more contented place. Not having a go at the poster btw. Just making the point that offering virtually unlimited credit the way JLR does in or...

If Which is wrong then the briefing must have been "wrong" too because pretty much identical tables have appeared elsewhere.
The Essential Daily Briefing version, obviously from the same source at JLR.

Excellent Tax/Emissions comparison site

Lots of very useful at-a-glance figures, tax, emissions and mpg calculators here, on EV (and all vehicles for that matter). https://www.nextgreencar.com/ Who would have thought that the first year's VED on a £94,000 Range Rover PHEV Vogue was only fifteen pounds ? Whisper it: We are going electric (...

Re: N270 Exhaust Manifold to DOC Connection

Not sure why it’s being dragged up again. I might be able to help you there. How about: ...because JLR considers this to be of such high importance that it recently ordered dealers to inspect all vehicles prior to their handover and to delay delivery if necessary with a cock and bull story about "a...

Sign the Petition - Immediate Brexit

Please sign this petition immediately if, like me, you have heard enough from May about her pathetic, crippling "deal" for Britain and the incessant whining of re-moaning minors who don't realise that they are stuck in the denial phase of the grieving process. The vote is not going to be repeated. ...

Re: Looking to buy 2016 DS - Crazy??

As someone who bought a 2016 diesel DS second hand (good luck finding a petrol one of that age!) it appears that the main issue is whether or not your journey type will suit the DS. Unfortunately there's no guaranteed answer to that one. If it is mainly short journeys it's probably a no, and I susp...
