Re: Rejection finally complete - oil dilution

Quick update on my rejection Week 14 and the LR garage from Hereford has finally sent a correspondence to my lawyer after 6 weeks of nothing, requesting the current mileage. Could this be a sign of impending settlement figure or just another stall tactic!! They seem surprised that I am still using t...

Re: Rejection Nightmare

Well in to the 4th month of trying to hand my DS back and all I have had in reply is a few pointless emails and one letter stating “not our problem” funny when your buying the car they never stop bothering you! The garage based in Hereford (won’t name them in case it jeopardises my ongoing legal fi...

Re: Rejection finally complete - oil dilution

Hi PT26 Further to my previous post... I expect the reason that the CRC UK have asked you to contact them by "Private Message" is to get you OFF the forum and out of the public domain. I would suggest to them that they respond to you via the forum so that we can all see what they are offering with ...

Re: Rejection finally complete - oil dilution

Good afternoon, One & All, So, I too have started the ball rolling on rejecting my Disco Sport..... It's a shame as I do like the car but have had way too many issues with it, including oil dilution..... First oil change at 4750 miles, second one at 10,995 and then again at 21,000 miles. Having had...

Re: Gearbox fault

As I parked up and switched off the engine the other day, the following message came up. “Gearbox fault, park switch inoperative”. The engine did switch off but would not restart - just displaying the same message. I then realised the gearbox selector had not taken up the park mode and was still in...

I’ve been on to the advertising provider to report these. Can anyone let me know if it happens again please or if the problem appears to be sorted?

Thanks
The adverts have stopped but I’m still getting logged out all the time, very odd.

When you log back in don’t forget to check the “remember me” tab which usually resolved the need to keep logging in

I find that I need to log back in every 6 weeks or so
Tried that but makes no difference, it’s only just started recently maybe an iPad thing 🤔

Re: BT pop up and constant logouts

I have noticed that I need to login each time now where before this was not required, very odd! No pop ups though

Re: Looking to buy 2016 DS - Crazy??

You have made the right move by asking the question, I didn’t and went in blind only to find out afterwards, my fault of course. I don’t want to sway you either way, maybe petrol as it does not have some of the issues, the free oil changes are only while under warranty oh and take out the extended w...
