Time to go #2

I agree with Bibendum. moderated warning issued This forum is not a fun, safe place to chat about your DS. It’s a place where trolls and bullies lurk ready and waiting to shoot you down. They should head off to a forum dedicated to their new vehicle. While there have been some useful posts, most end...

Re: almost going to pull the trigger... but need a push

Thanks for the great explanation.

Re: almost going to pull the trigger... but need a push

Yes I use the app and the car has had all the updates. Based on all the referenced documents, a DS of any age that has all the campaign updates installed will be calculating oil dilution percentage and indicting to the driver when a service is due. On MY15-16 they will just get an IC and InControl a...

Re: almost going to pull the trigger... but need a push

MY16 D180 2.0l Auto. 1 service at about 20k. Driven on mainly A roads (50 mph) for 30-40 minutes per trip (around 20 miles) a few times a week and then longer trips at weekend. Usually 3 people. Weekly mileage is roughly 350 miles. I almost always drive on cruise control, with stop/start off and not...

Usually 50 mph for 30 to 40 minutes per trip. It’s not rocket science!

Re: almost going to pull the trigger... but need a push

Maybe you were just lucky and managed to bag one of the few early 16MY cars with a working cheat device. Ever consider that? Because it's not down to your driving style. What cheat device? None existed for LR vehicles and even if it did, that is for NOX not diesel particulates. In my case it is alm...

Re: almost going to pull the trigger... but need a push

I would assert that by the very nature of this Discovery Sport Technical Forum, the vast majority of posts will be related to an issue. This forum has 6142 registered members and about 400,000 DIsco Sports have been sold equating to at least 400,000 current or former owners. So the forum only repres...
