I've not timed it but I'd estimate a couple of minutes, maybe 3. As others have posted, best way to to keep an eye on instantaneous fuel consumption.

Insurance certificate and driving license was enough for me when my number plate fell off somewhere near Doncaster in very hot weather. Halfords happy to make it with proof of reg No on insurance and owner ID from license I already had in the car

I’ve no first-hand experience of doing this but i’d definitely go FRONT. That’s where the most direct drive from the transmission is and, perhaps more importantly, where the weight of the powertrain will help give you grip
