MOT Protect - date for use ?

Hi there, When I bought my MY17 DS, it came with LR MOT Protect with it. Never having had this before I'm a bit unsure how it's meant to wotk. It says that it runs from: 15 March 2020 till 14 March 2021. But the car is due it's first MOT on or before 14 (!) March 2020. So, it looks like the protect ...

Re: Warranty Date not in Line with Registration Date

Be interesting to know what model year your car is as well, plus if it has had the software update to notify you of needing a service ? Some of the older original DS's had software that 'neglected' to put up the Service message on the dash, and so the car needed a service, but the owner didn't know ...

Re: Service interval

My dealer had said that there had been a new notice released ? And that vehicles were covered up to 55,000 miles now.

I wonder what happens if you still have the car past 55k?

Will this just be automatically available to cars with SOTA enabled on them, or do it need to be assigned to the vehicle ?

Thanks,
Roy.

Re: Enabling SOTA ?

Ok just called the dealer and they seemed to imply that they could enable it for my car.

Let's see what happens :-)

Nice thing about this is that if they enable it once, that's it now turned on for all future updates without needing to go back into the dealer all the time.

Re: Enabling SOTA ?

Thanks.

Do they need the car, or can they just do it with the VIN ? ( my car is already up to data enough to have the SOTA menus etc. in it)

Enabling SOTA ?

Hi there, I was having a look around on my Disco (MY17 ICTP) on Topix and can't see anywhere that indicates SOTA on/off, let alone how to enable it on my car. Is this something that the dealer only sees ? I'm asking as my car needs some more... updates done to it and if I can ask them to simply enab...
