Re: Windscreen wipers

I was told by my dealer that all new vehicles are sprayed with a fluid to offer some protection during transport and that if this is not fully removed at the dealer then it will cause the said smearing.

Give the whole screen a good clean with a suitable medium and it should solve the problem.

Re: Drivers Seat Height

Only with a sub-frame under the seat but I suspected that would negate the vehicle homologation. It certainly would here and was always a problem when I was selling RECARO aftermarket seats in the UK.

Re: Windscreen Heater - Fire Hazard

Just a thought and I may well be wrong but I’m not sure that the system is actually intended to clear snow.

Certainly not actually confidence building that’s for sure.

Re: Wheels and Sat Nav Maps

1. Tyre pressure sensors should reset themselves after you’ve driven for a couple of miles. I guess it’s described in the handbook as well. 2. If no other member can tell you what the latest software version is you should be able to find it using this link: https://www.landrover.com/ownership/incont...

Re: What has happened to Sarah

I’m surprised Sarah lasted as long as she did in that regard, JLR have been quite quick in the past to yank insiders who were posting, off the forum. Given that there was a “I’m leaving” post I assume she didn’t have her collar felt in this case. No. Sarahstreet left in March 2021 due to a number o...

Re: Tailgate glitch

I wouldn’t hesitate and just take it back to the dealer and tell them to sort it out pronto. Shouldn’t happen on a brand new vehicle especially if the dealer did his pre delivery check properly.

I think I recall that there was a problem quite early on with faulty stunts. Could be a possibility on a 2016 model.
Always bad when a stunt goes wrong...! ;)
Just read your comment thanks😂
