Re: Was looking to buy, now not so sure

My advice, based on what you have disclosed, is not to buy one. If you have your heart set on one then buy the old 2.2 engine, however there is still a considerable amount of electrical issues to be aware of, so you will need a solid warranty to boot. Your typical journey pattern is not compatible w...

Shamima Begum & her Leech (sorry, Lawyer!)

Having just watched an frankly unbeleivable interview on tonights news with a terrorist loving individual determined to return to a country that she clearly despises, why should the taxpayer fund this lifestyle? And should she be allowed to waltz back in and live the rest of her life on the aforemen...

Re: LR Experience Session

Eastnor is by far the favourite, but both Rockingham and Luton Hoo are equally good. Honiton I have yet to hear anyone describe as challenging in all my years of LR ownership

Re: Hi

James French are a very good Oxfordshire independent dealer, able to source ex-JLR MCP vehicles at closed auction, just like a main dealer would. The big difference with them is that they actually give a damn about the customer, both before, during and after a sale. I take it that your registration ...

Re: Don’t trust oil service mileage indicator

Based on personal experience I believe that ECO-style driving on trunk roads/motorways actually creates the worst of all conditions because it produces a lot of soot and HC/PM - but NONE of it is oxidized at the time of production. This is because such driving counts as "normal driving" which, acco...

Re: Hi all

Hello Keith and welcome. If you have a spare year, then read the oil dilution thread, drive your vehicle as you normally would, then review the situation after a few months useage, and see whether or not it correlates with the general consensus on the forum from other owners. Meantime, enjoy your ve...

Must be ok then, car very rarely does a short journey, usually a 10 mile commute run.
Ha ha ha, that is a short journey according to most dealerships!

Re: AdBlue/DEF Range Thread

Right, I see. As yours is a 19MY I'm actually surprised that it covered that distance before warning, given that it's supposedly using three times more than a 16MY

Adblue warning has just come up today at 5300 miles.. thought it would go for longer. Despite the service plan will order from amazon to save a trip to the dealer.
Why has an Adblu warning come on when you stil have 5300 miles of range? It shouldn't come up until 1500 miles remain
