Re: Rattles

The worst and most annoying rattles I get are from the seatbelt buckles that don’t retract back to alongside the seat and flap around. Especially the rear ones that you can’t reach from the drivers seat! Snap. My children have been fully briefed on this unfortunately their friends haven’t so I end ...

Re: Whistling noise from driver door

My passenger door developed a whistle about a month ago. Eventually tracked it down to the window not closing fully by a couple of mm. not enough to notice so took a while to find. Dealer replaced the motor under warranty.

300 miles to a tank is normal for me unfortunately.

I’m sure someone posted a car reset process on here to force the car to start communicating again. Try a few searches

it will be some tyre with damaged sidewall, easier to slap it on your car than pay to dispose of it.
I like to hope that replacing one dangerous tyre with another is beyond even their ridiculous incompetence. Plus it’s still got the blooming great sticker on it so is brand spanking.

Re: Always left just a tiny bit disappointed with LR

You’ll get a bill at the end of the month! That wouldn’t surprise me but obviously I won’t be paying it as declined the new tyre. Plus it’s the later w rated 20” conti they’ve fitted so technically not the manufacturers spec v rated tyre and doesn’t match the existing v rated one. To be honest i’m ...

Re: Always left just a tiny bit disappointed with LR

My car has been dropped back to me the morning with a brand new rear tyre on it replacing the one with a cut in the tread. Admittedly I now have one part worn on the rear and a new one but I haven’t been charged for it..... I don’t know whether they’ve given me a £285 tyre for free or just mucked up...

Re: Always left just a tiny bit disappointed with LR

Apparently my car is now all fixed. I know this because they've just turned up at my office to drop it off and collect the courtesy car. Bit silly really when I explained to them yesterday that I wouldn't be there today. Still checking my app my car has been on a nice 15 miles drive to my office and...

Re: Always left just a tiny bit disappointed with LR

I know it did make me laugh. Both fronts down to 2.5mm and I was planning to change them in a few weeks anyway but for £100 less per corner than the dealer wants. The problem is a cut in the tread on one rear tyre that they say is down to the cord. The video they sent me mentions it but doesn’t zoom...

Re: Always left just a tiny bit disappointed with LR

Ah spoke too soon. They are unable to test drive the car to diagnose a fault I asked them to look at as they believe one tyre would be an MOT failure so is unsafe to drive. Oddly they are still happy to drive the car back to me though when the other work is finished.....
