Re: Strange Road Noise

Our noise doesn't be described as whooshing (although my wife believes that I should borrow my fathers hearing aid these days!), I will post if the dealer evergeuts to the bottom of the noise. Thankyou Past master. Badgerface never in my life have I heard of anything like Steelman Chassis Ears but a...

Re: Park Brake Requires Calibration

On three occasions the car has not pulled away recently, followed by a clonk and only then the car has driven. It looks like we have a problem with the 'drive away release' mechanism. Another addition to my dealer list before the guarantee runs out ! I will post what the dealer does about this issue.

Re: Strange Road Noise

Many thanks for all your comments, and will definitely get the dealer to look into this in the next couple of weeks as it reaches three years old ! Our particular noise seems to come more from the rear, possibly drivers side as you listen, but the car is well noise insulated and it is difficult to c...

Re: Windscreen Rubber Seal

Thanks for the reply Badgerface. These marks do not peel or scratch away, it is like something has eaten into the rubber and reacted with it. It just makes the area of rubber look shabby, in contract to the rest of the car that is nearly three years old but still pristine! Are these rubbers adhered ...

Strange Road Noise

I have been searching and reading the forum about any noises that can be heard above road noise while driving but cannot find anything that describes quite what I am hearing !? We definitely can hear (when concentrating on the noise) while driving on quiet road surfaces at about say 70mph (1600+ rpm...

Windscreen Rubber Seal

Our vehicle gets ever closer to the end of it's guarantee (18.11.18). The windscreen rubber seal on the passenger side does not fit flush correctly at the top of the screen, and their are markings on the rubber which look like the rubber has been heat or chemical damaged? Strangely a rubber was chan...

Re: Takata Air Bag Recall....

Hi How do you know if your car is affected, is there anywhere you can enter a VIN number? Did CRC ever get back to you following on from your post on 11.06.18 Barnsh? Has anyone contacted JLR regarding this and what reply was given? Any help understanding this important issue would be much appreciat...
