Re: inControl renewal is it worth it?

I renewed mine for £30 - just the basic InControl. It's not worth much more than that as it's just a 'nice to have thing'. So if LR increase the renewal I'll drop out. I wish they would give the web interface the same functionality as the mobile app. It can't be that difficult to add the 'locked' fe...

Re: Chip on bonnet - what can be done?

Sorry to hear about another chip!

It would be good if you can manage to take some before/after photos so we can see how things go as we all have to deal with chips eventually.

Re: Bizarre catastrophic failure of car!

Sorry if I've missed it if you've already tried, but... I would also try contacting the LR CSC rep. here @CRC@LandRover You can PM them here: https://www.discosportforums.co.uk/memberlist.php?mode=viewprofile&u=493 As you haven't posted in 'their' thread it won't hurt to make sure they've seen this ...

Re: Breakdown Cover Renewal

It's a funny old world where loyal existing customers get stitched up! Everything seems to work this way now. I recently saw someone call it an "apathy" tax. So for those that don't want to spend time either negotiating or switching they'll end up with a bad deal. I guess the companies have worked o...

Re: Time for my DS to go

Looking back on posts I believe Les has a 2.2L Euro 5 - so will be subject to ULEZ in April 2019.

Re: Why buy from a main dealer?

We are all interested! ;) 'Interim' sounds like the interim oil service due to diesel dilution to me. 'Arduous' - that sounds strange (to me)! FULL service isn't due until 2 years/21k miles. If they've had the car since September - then I wouldn't be in any rush - that's a LONG time. So if it's the ...

Re: Why buy from a main dealer?

No it's different than TOPIx. The OSH (online service history) website has recently changed so that no login is required just a VIN which you can get from the windscreen: https://osh.landrover.com/ As someone else said, check for 'extras' the non-LR dealer might charge you. Also see what deal LR can...
