Re: Recall to fix CO2 emissions - whats the fix?

Looking at the dates mentioned some of these cars will have had an MOT.
Has anyone reported an emissions failure?

Re: Recall to fix CO2 emissions - whats the fix?

What if we refuse to let LR fiddle with our cars?
I read somewhere it is a voluntary recall, which (I'm guessing) is nothing to do with actual safety?
Is the "voluntary" for the manufacturer or owner, as it seems that it becomes more blurred to me wether we own the car after we have paid for it.

Re: Engine cover

The good fairies helped! I went to check the cover mountings as I had only seen two, and as I walked up to the car there was a rubber bush type thing lying on the drive! I have done about 500 miles since I noticed the flapping cover, so how lucky was that? All back in place and secured again. Thanks...

Engine cover

Since my balance shafts were renewed the engine cover seems to fit loosely, and is easy to lift at the back edge. Is this correct?

Re: Are there any good ones?

Re previous post Adblue comments. Adblue top up on the service plan is a cost issue for me- 20 mile round trip, 30 minutes in the dealer. My time is expensive, and it wold be cheaper to buy the stuff and fill up at home, but reading reports on here if you do that LR will claim it's the wrong spec an...

Re: Security Advice

They mentioned "our Land Rover Sport". Not familiar with that model. I just 'phoned LR to ask if my DS is vulnerable, and was told it has the best security available. I said that was not an answer but got no further comment. He said that if you purchase In control it will help get a stolen vehicle b...

Re: Security Advice

I note that Which? have got onto this. They have explained how to steal cars, so any amateur little scrote knows how to do it. I see that some Land Rovers post 2017 are protected from this method. Does anyone have any information as to wether DS is fixed? It would be odd for LR to fix some but not a...

Re: Parking Sensor Stress

It is the tone that you get when very close, but not totally continuous-ie-sounds for a couple of seconds,
They appear clean and if it was mud it would do it every time, these alerts are random.

Re: Parking Sensor Stress

My parking sensors have gone weird!
The front ones go off when near nothing occasionally. Even with the vehicle stationary.
Anyone else have this feature?
