Have I read this correctly?
The latest software update will reduce the AdBlue range of my D180 from approx 7500 miles to 3000 miles?
Just 2,000 for 2019 model year, carry on at this rate and we'll be using more (in costs terms) in Adblu than diesel!
Where do these numbers come from?

No! Do you have a copy of that document?

Dealers advice was to contact LR Customer Care, and ask ask if they'd be willing to honour any additional oil & filter changes as a gesture of goodwill.

Wow! Thanks T*gg**ts!

Re: Newbie looking for help/ clarification on oil dilution

For first owners of 16MY/17MY cars covered by JLRP00100, JLR's latest position on free oil changes was laid by CRC's post from July 2018 - effectively after 3 years they will decide whether or not to fund the additional oil services on a case-by-case. JLR don't really care about their cars in the lo...

Re: Don’t trust oil service mileage indicator

OK, this is a serious question... however first, I agree that there is a flaw in the exhaust architecture, 21,000 miles would seem to be a veritable unicorn distance, and that journey type and driving style are two different things. Most of my journeys are only 25 miles, a few longer, many more sho...

Re: Service interval

Is this the later MY equivalent to N273? I see from the details posted by VDS that this is another PCM software update and it's not showing for my car on Topix, which I guess makes sense, as that has only just been updated by N273 for my car. N273 - VINs 544577 to 648849 (expires 31/01/2021) SRO 12...

Re: Service interval

This is not the only thing it does, though. Observe that N289 replaces N025v5, worksheet and parts list attached for comparison. N025v5: A potential concern has been identified on 2016 and 2017 Model Year (MY) Range Rover, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Evoque, Discovery and Discovery Sport vehicles...

N289

This has had some cut and pasting to combine a header from one source with the complete body of the text from a very kind dealer-donor. Because it came as a text file, there may be some formatting issues below the header. Other than that, this should be pretty much what the original document looks l...

Re: Service interval

Was just told by reliable dealer that the text of N289 says that it replaces N025v5 for DS and Evoque 17MY and 18MY and that the latest vehicle affected is JH766686, an 18MY 2.0L AJ200 handed over in the middle of April 2018. If you own a 17MY, or any one of the 44,939 18MY cars affected by this, wh...

A full 21k service minus the oil and filter change is a pollen filter. And the privelage of having your OSH updated. £500 ish less £200 ish makes it a £300 pollen filter. Not even McLaren would charge that amount for one. Go figure!

Re: Service interval

So.... a big thank you to members who have informed us about JLRP00100. And....”rescinded” - Really?? ...and a big thanks to the "JLR source" for providing it in the first place. ;) It has been replaced by JLRP00100v2 but to all intents and purposes, that one does exactly the same job as its predec...
