Re: INGENIUM 2.0 DIESEL OIL ANALYSIS RESULTS

THIS IS NOT AN INGENIUM 2.0 DIESEL OIL SAMPLE [/color] Just something for you to compare your Ingenium 2.0 diesel oil analysis with... My Škoda Kodiaq 2.0 Tdi (190) has just been to the garage for the first time for its first service (what a refreshing change!). The day before it went in, I used my...

Re: Brake Pad replacement

£650 is absolutely ridiculous for brake pads. Land Rover don't manufacture brake pads; They just put other manufacturer's products in incredibly expensive Land Rover branded boxes. Advanced Factors will sell you a set of Delphi pads for £52 (if it's the fronts): https://www.advancedfactors.co.uk/lr0...

Re: Door stuck - not latch

My OSR door got stuck as well on my old 2017MY DS. See my post earlier in this thread: https://www.discosportforums.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=9159#p95818 Mine was replaced by Inchcape Southampton under warranty. Seems the clips failed when the door was closed with (apparently) too much enthusiasm. ...

Re: Woolmeister's Škoda Kodiaq 2.0 TDI DSG Sportline

Well, a few months have passed now and I'm back here to reluctantly report that nothing has broken or fallen off it (roof spoilers or door cards, for example). In fact, the car just does what it was designed for with no drama and it's been back to my Škoda dealer precisely zero times since I bought ...

Re: IID Bluetooth Diagnostic Tool

I very much doubt it.

I couldn't get my IIDTool to do very much at all on the DS when I had it. Even displaying fault codes was a struggle (and there were enough of them).

Moved away from Land Rover now and sold my IIDTool years ago.

Re: 3rd Row Seatbelt replacement

Unless a dog or small child has chewed through it, I'm surprised the seat belt needs replacing. I do seem to recall a post on here where the interior trim had been fitted over the row three seat belts and the fittings were pushed directly through the seat belt webbing at the factory (thus re...

Re: PCP Ending

All the dealers are telling me there is hardly any equity in the car but find it hard to believe tbh. I encountered the same level of laziness when I came to change. There clearly is some equity in it if they look hard enough. Take my example above: £19,500 trade in at a Škoda dealer Now up for sal...

Re: PCP Ending

I'll bet you that paying the balloon is still a lot cheaper than buying a 3 year-old similar spec car from the dealer after they've added their £5k margin, even accounting for the 2 years approved used warranty. The £5k margin you quote is about right. Every Land Rover dealer I went to told me that...

Re: Total Engine Failure

This is my fourth new LR and my last. It should be about doing the right thing by the customer in the circumstances, not the minimum possible according to the law and contractual obligations👎 ^^^^ This. All day long. Probably the biggest reason I wasn't prepared to risk buying another one. They hav...
