Re: Adblue cap won't undo

There's an earlier thread from someone who had the same problem and ended up destroying the cap. A search might find it.

Re: Acceleration Delay

I certainly get the hesitation when trying to move off from rest. As noted above, my driving style has adapted to it. I get no problem though when moving - eg accelerating to overtake. I'd suggest putting the car in S mode and see if that makes a difference. It may be happening because the car is ch...

And Projekt Grenadier, if it ever happens, will be using BMW motors. That will make LR very happy!

Re: LR Warranty

For me the deal maker was the Land Rover Assist package. I've called them a few times - knowledgeable mechanics and near-instant service. Re: New model year now on web site

Xxtrail - I imagine the dealer will be happy to switch your existing wheels onto the new car if you ask! Or get a cheap set on e-bay, swap them over and keep the old ones and sell the new ones. That's a bit sneaky though.

Re: Engine replacing Balance Shaft

They will have reset the driving parameters. It may be revving a bit more until it gets used to your" driving style". Plus they may have done an upgrade. I'm sure that mine revs higher since the last update.

Re: Discovery Sport SE Tech 2.2 Manual Gearbox Four Years In - Hello & Goodbye.....

One extra point for anyone considering buying a 2.2: the engine is not ULEZ compliant so will not be a viable option in Central London, or in a year or two anywhere within the North/South Circular.

Re: Extended warranty

Some repairs can be very expensive (see the latest post from someone 3 months out of warranty with a dead engine) so I think a warranty is a good idea unless you intend to sell the car soon. For me the peace of mind of having access to LR Assist was quite a big factor. If yours is on a 65 plate it m...
