Re: Drivers Seat Height

Re: Wheel Hangers for DS

Why not just lower the car a little after doing the work until the holes line up with minimal lifting?

Re: Aircon low pressure port

Newer cars now use a different Refrigerant R1234yf and it is not compatible with older refrigerants. So fittings will be different.
Any A/C shop can do the work if necessary but if the system is cooling do not worry.

Re: "Low Battery, Please Start Engine" message....

Help ... Anyone. You know when I call Land rover they wont let me speak to a techie about my problem - What are they hiding or is it such a closed circuit that it is a trade secret - my guess is they are milking it for the after sales screw-over. Apologies if I sound a bit cynical but I am at the e...

Re: What did you do in your DS today

Today drove to the bank to deposit several cheques from my insurance company around $700.00 for changes to our insurance. Wife has mobility handicap so she finally got approved and we got a rebate for several years. (also do not have to pay fuel tax) Next week insurance company will be giving everyo...

Are you sure you need spark plugs?? They last 100,000 KMs

Re: Washer tank access

You may just have a loose hose that can be accessed from below but to get to the tank the bumper has to come off. I had a leak but it was the hose going to the headlight spray and told by the dealer it was common.

Re: Where is the engine oil filter? (MY15 petrol)

The oil filter is located under the motor. You take off the shield under the engine and there it is, awkward to remove since a hose has to to be pushed out of the way. Filter is installed HAND TIGHT only. Usually when you spin it on until it stops then 1/4 turn more. Look up Ford 2 litre ecoboost en...

Re: Battery Warning - Warning

LOL No it is just a place I visit to see relatives. If the battery where to fail it would be costly to have car towed so the reset could be performed, and then have to pay for the privilege. No such thing as roving Land rover techs. Not quite a safari but lots of wildlife to see. Was planning a trip...

Re: Battery Warning - Warning

You have to wonder why a vehicle advertised for travel in the great outdoors has to go to the dealer for every problem. In my province if you live or travel to a a major northern city you have to travel for 7 hours to get to closest dealer. Over 12 hours if you go a little further north. Lucky that ...
