Thinkware & Blackvue incorporate a cut off sensor when battery reaches a certain level of discharge, usually around 12.2v

Don’t know about the Nextbase but it’s unlikely that any will function for 2 weeks before the cut off limit is reached, such is the normal rate of drain on modern cars

No ticking but can’t guarantee squeak free. I damaged one trying the BBQ skewer method to solve the squeaking :roll:

For clarity this is the external shiny piece of trim for the drivers door. I give the advert until the end of next week before I send it to the local tip

I have never had a car that locks itself after I have finished driving it and parked up. I have had cars that will re lock themselves if it is unlocked by the fob and a door is not opened.
