Re: DS owner no more

I can understand why , fumes are a serious issue. I thinks that’s sometimes why I vent my thoughts vociferously on here , the DS could be such a wonderful car for all the reasons you mention. Just the frustrating reliability that lets it down, maybe new owners will fair better , I really hope they ...

Re: JLR 10% Surcharge in event of No Deal Brexit?

Listening to the CEO of BMW yesterday my only thought was “wouldn’t it be nice if everyone on the U.K. turned the tables on his threats by stating their refusing to buy BMW products in the future”.
Pretty sure that would compress his smugness

-9. Yes I’m sure you’re right.Having said that some folks seem to have another agenda. Why if you don’t now have a DS would you keep coming onto a DS forum to criticise the vehicle Maybe it’s not about criticing the vehicle but more about providing information to/educating prospective owners what th...

Re: What did you do today?

Will be interested to hear your thoughts on the new RAV4 once you get it.

It is one on our shortlist for replacing the Lexus, which has exceeded expectations, but wifey finds it a bit of a barge on the country lanes around here and would prefer something a little smaller

Re: Hello from newbie

As you suspected the 165 point check is just a figment of LR dealers’ imagination.

Would be interesting to hear their response on the brakes issue vis-a-vis how they missed it on such a thorough check

Re: Newbie looking for help/ clarification on oil dilution

But don’t forget, LR aren’t losing sales because of arrogant dealers and the contempt towards customers by customer services and hence LR themselves ..............

Re: Rear ended after only one month of ownership

Oh no! sorry to hear but as you say no one was injured and the car is repairable

I haven’t owned a DS for a year now since moving on but from memory you can access the boot by pulling the recline lever on the side of the seat which or by lifting the latch on each top corner of the rear seats
