Re: Time to go.

Totally agree Bibendum, and it’s more than one person with that big negative chip on their shoulders TBH.

I gave up here ages ago because of it. Only dip in from time to time now and have noticed the negative direction growing.

Re: New Owner - Monday

Sorry but my dealer of 20 years doesn’t fob me off. They acted on LR advice at the time.

Ok I forgot about the 13.5K service message. Apologies.

Car had no issues. But like I said... It’s gone and by all accounts is running fine.

Re: New Owner - Monday

So I followed my dealers advice to no ill effects. At 19.5K miles I had it serviced. Anyway. Car moved on.

Re: New Owner - Monday

Well my 17MY DS went to nearly 21K miles before the service indicator came on. The 16MY I had until 11K miles and no early service warning. I assume my ‘driving style) was appropriate for the car. My trustworthy dealer service agent confirmed that 16MY and 17MY cars that got to 21,000 miles without...

Care to elaborate on that? Yes my DS’s never had early service warnings. I had my oil tested and dilut...

Re: Discovery Sport v Tiguan

Interesting info. And great boot size pics. So the Kodiaq is more spacious then. Not sure it will rattle as much as my 2 DS’s though but I’ve not yet driven a current MY of either. I think the Tiguan looks better than the Kodiaq but it’s very subject to the colour. Some DS’s look bland until you get...

Re: Bizarre catastrophic failure of car!

Surely the car is yours still? You can still insist on an independent inspection as suggested ??

Re: Discovery Sport v Tiguan

Looked at a Kodiaq Scout the other day just out of interest. Mighty impressed. Seemed (to look at) that it had a deeper boot and as much of not more knee room in row 2 with the drivers seat set where I’d have it. Didn’t put row 3 up but I suspect they are kids only like the DS. So useless for adults...
