Re: The misery is finally over for me.......

Sorry to see you go SS, and to be frank I’m surprised you’ve lasted this long without a tap on the shoulder. Most JLR employees who post on here and help out suddenly disappear, never to be seen again - I thought you’d been muzzled a week or so ago. But then, you’re probably not a Sarah or a Street....

Thankyou that was the sort of response I was looking for

It gets a bit like Groundhog Day with the same questions occurring over and over without people bothering even to try searching for what they’re looking for. I’m pretty sure even Google will throw up this sites thread on the topic.

Re: D240 Engine -DPF & OIL DILUTION

I have asked a genuine serious question not intending to bash Land Rovers and did not expect insults Thankyou The search function is really good, and you’ll find probably the longest thread on the forum. Yes we’ve seen the document several times over, yes the D240 has different exhaust architecture...

I say, I say, I say, why do Skodas have heated rear Windows? To keep your hands warm while pushing them of course!

Re: The misery is finally over for me.......

Hi Mighty Hunter, Thankyou for your open full on post. It is really helpful. I used to have an Evoque (2 of them actually) and I'd hear a lot on that forum about issues. I had one minor niggle in that the courtesy light started to come on by its self. This was fixed and everything else was excellen...

Are you having a larf? Surprisingly, you’ve been a member on here for 9 months and you’re asking this now? I thought you were going to be one of the pop up merchants who ask something pretty obvious, light the blue touch paper and disappear.

Re: Travelling with dogs advice

Have you seen the size of the beam that comes out and is replaced when you fit a towbar (basically the same beam with the towbar receiver welded to it)? It’s enormous, and normally hidden behind what’s laughing called a bumper! The beam fits into the longitudinal beams running either side at the bac...

Re: Power Steering Failure

...I might ask them to do this on mine (Bought March 18) the next time it is in for a service, but to be honest as they won’t change unless it fails what’s the point? If they do turn out to be steel then it might give you a bit of peace of mind - either way at least you would know where you stand :...

Enjoying new MY18 SE Tech petrol😊
.....which sadly could also be affected.

Re: The misery is finally over for me.......

The mind boggles at some of the faults, and wonder how a lemon such as this car can be produced these days. Some of the issues we're familiar with, but to get all of them in one car, wow! There are clearly electrical issues, those and air con, brake rust issues apparently unrelated - but missing und...
