Re: Stock car delivery time scale

That's interesting to know. In a degree I want to wrap up as soon as possible so I can move on with something else. In another hand, if they take their time, that mean I'm saving money for not paying for the car yet. From the day I've received an email from LR about confirmation of my order to now ...

Re: Stock car delivery time scale

From the LR system, my car was built in week ending 25 Jan 19 (build date is always a Friday), 'Delivery Date' was 08 Feb 19 and 'Planned and Accepted Handover Date' were both 13 Feb 19. 'Customer Handover Date' however was blank (as not relevant to LR I guess). As the dealer was in a rush to delive...

Re: Lower Control Arm Bushing (MY20)

Not heard of this before, and now there are two MY20 with the issue - sounds like it's a change on the new DS.

Re: Did you order or buy from stock?

Call the dealer and they don’t know what is happening and the car is still in factory. Dealer should be ...

Re: SatNav and Bluetooth not working

Try a system reset in the menu system, will clear all the settings but as it’s going anyway Will need doing. Otherwise than that, I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it.

Re: DPF Fault - twice is 9 months.

Personally, I don’t think the regen does stop when you go under 40mph, I could spot the regen happening on my first DS and it continued after negotiating junctions, lights, etc. when I was stopped. I’d continue on and it would finish a few minutes later (I.e. it didn’t restart). But it does seem you...

Re: Did you order or buy from stock?

In truth, whilst we think we're all unique, manufacturers know pretty much what we want before we do and have already built your car before you walk into the showroom. Hence in most cases, they have the exact, or damned close, spec sitting in a car park ready to deliver to you on order. Of course t...

Re: Mitubishi phevs off

Had a passing thing with Mitsubishi, a 2010 Outlander with the same 2.2 engine the DS originally had, superb car. Replaced it with a 2015 auto diesel new / current shape Outlander which was a dreadful engine / box combination, not at all suited to each other and a decontented spec which was such a d...

Re: Residual Values

Thanks for the reply. That makes sense right enough, the Landmark was based on the HSE with some fancy bits. And so was the HSE Black, so you would imagine they would be equally as sought after. The only thing I had in my mind was that the PCP price new on the Landmark was in relative terms really ...

Re: Residual Values

I wouldn’t have thought they’d be much different in terms of residuals, as the Landmark is HSE based, it’s effectively comparing between an HSE Black and an HSE ‘Grey’. :-)

Any difference may have the Landmark worst as it was a short term end of DS1 special edition.
