Re: keys don't work after car theft recovered

Moral of the story is do not rely on OEM trackers , the thieves know where they are fitted. Use an odb protection device. Use a faraday bag for your Keyes /disable comfort access. Use a Disklok device Fit a driveway bollard. Etc...etc... Just make your car not worth the bother of stealing , there’s...

Re: Question : after the battery replacement

You can either take it in to get reset / conditioned. Or you can take it for a long 50 mile / or hours drive with air con set above 22.5 . ( keeps the charge going regardless of battery condition. Told this by jag assist when the battery died .same for DS , Evoque and FPace. Reason the car stores ch...

Re: Steering Lock

For ODB theft , one of the best is portector

Re: A Change Of Brand

A great right up mightyhunter. All marques have their problems and lemons exist , but there is something amiss when basic issues reported over the years are not addressed. As you know I jumped ship to the petrol FPace after my BPiller escapade and the oil in fuel issue. I gave them 3 efforts to give...

Re: Front Coil springs

Taking it to the dealer tomorrow to see if they are sympathetic to a loyal customer. But times are hard for them so we will have to see.... Times are hard so they should be more keen to keep you , have a look in the showroom first make them think your going to change but say your waiting to see if ...

Re: Front Coil springs

I’d be going back to JLZr customer services as this is not what any owner would reasonably expect. Admittedly you are out if warranty but a fault like this should not appear at 4 years old.
Nothing to lose by trying either , you may get a contribution.

Re: 2 months on, my thoughts

The reason I hopped over to the FPace with the ZF8 .
The ZF9 isn’t the best even in the petrol , I drove both side by side.
It’s not as bad as the diesel delay , but still noticeable.

Re: Right thing

I recently posted my experience with my DS HSE (177KW petrol) after 4000 miles, and I'd buy the DS again. Someone on this forum said recently that it's populated mainly by folks complaining about their diesel experience and those with petrol engines are just out driving happily around. I can't disa...
