Re: B - Pillar Ticking (Rattle)

Sadly, it looks like MY17 still inherits this issue. Someone just posted this video today demonstrating the B-pillar ticking noise on his MY17 DS:

Re: Replacing DS - B Pillar Rattle

Indeed a very difficult decision, but you would rather have this instead of suffering from the ticking rattle.

Re: MY16 B Pillar Rattle ?

Hi Is the noise you are all hearing a constant Ticking / Clicking sound from around the upper B Pillar area? (on both sides of the car but not at the same time.) Cheers Ray Ray, download and listen to the audio I uploaded last year, and see if your ticking noise is the same or not: http://www.disco...

Re: UPDATE ON B PILLAR RATTLE

After almost a year of being in and out of the shop for repairs for weeks at a time, we could not deal with anymore lost time and effort. We really loved our DS and that’s one of the reasons we put up with all the issues for so long but unfortunately we just happen to get one of the first problemat...

Re: MY16 B Pillar Rattle ?

Actually, you do want that card. Reportedly once the structure is put together soundly, many of the rattles will go away. I've got my fingers crossed on mine but am planning on dumping it as soon I collect it back from the dealer. A very expensive lesson was learned. I did have that membership card...

You are braver than I am. Since MY16 does not seem to have most of my MY15 DS' issues fixed (plus new ones), I chickened out and chose the refund.

Re: What to look out for on collection

If you checked for all the faults that have been posted about on the forum you would be at the dealers for days. Just collect your car and enjoy, you have 3 years for faults to be rectified. I don't know man, it could be a long 3 years to suffer. I have been suffering for 6 months already. I ...
