Auto box software update

Is there any way to tell for sure if a DS has had the auto gearbox software update?

I asked the dealer about it on pickup yesterday and he just said that as mine was only built a month ago it would have the latest on it from the factory.

Driving it around the city this morning, I'm not so sure, getting the much talked about 'lag' on pulling away from junctions, makes me lose a lot of confidence in pulling out into small gaps.

If it helps I have had mine nearly a month and the first couple of days mine was the same.

After a few miles it seems to have "adapted" and now pulls away much more positively.

This is in normal mode and stop/start off,

The symtoms you have described are exactly what a lot of forum members have reported - myself included.

The dealer's statement is rather feeble - it assumes, maybe correctly but maybe not, that there has been no software modification since yours was built.

I had the software on mine (built September 2015) updated and it made a world of difference.

I'd definitely go back to him and let him experience exactly what you are. I always make a point of letting the dealer experience the problem before he does anything about it otherwise there is a big chance he'll do nothing and just give you the car back saying "everythings OK now"
